Online and in-person sessions in West Norwood

Hello. I’m Sara, a trauma-informed integrative counsellor based in south London. I offer online or in-person sessions from my home in West Norwood.

I work with individuals on a number of issues, including:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • low self-esteem
  • trauma
  • childhood abuse, including bullying
  • bereavement
  • major life changes
  • family and relationship issues
  • panic attacks
  • stress
  • adjusting to life with a disability or long-term health condition
  • sex and sexuality
  • work-related issues, including burn-out.

If you don’t see yourself listed, it doesn’t mean I can’t or won’t work with you: these are just some of the areas I tend to specialise in.

It may be that you can’t pinpoint a particular issue, but you know that your life isn’t the way you’d like it to be, or you feel unhappy but don’t know why.

Whatever your reason for coming, I see counselling as a space to explore who you are, come to a greater acceptance of yourself, and identify any changes you want to make to help you live a more authentic life.

My approach is always warm, compassionate and empathetic. We will always go at your pace in our sessions, so you won’t feel rushed or held back by me. I see counselling as a collaborative process: something we do together, rather than something that is done to you. Above all, I want you to feel that I’m on your side and open, curious and non-judgemental.
